Dr. Eisenstein - Veterinarian

Born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Dr. Eisenstein developed a love for animals and science at an early age.

After college, her curiosity about the natural world led her to pursue a PhD in Genetics from Harvard University. She later realized her true calling was veterinary medicine and went on to earn her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.

Following graduation, Dr. Eisenstein practiced in New Jersey and New York before settling in Abington, Pennsylvania. She spent 13 years providing both general and emergency veterinary care in the area before bringing her extensive knowledge and experience to Rau Animal Hospital in 2021, where she joined the team as an Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Eisenstein has a broad range of expertise, with a special passion for general and internal medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children (soon to be empty nesters), caring for her menagerie of pets, gardening, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
