A native Philadelphian, Dr. Fox currently resides in Abington Township. He joined the Rau family in 1981, as an associate veterinarian, and has owned Rau Animal Hospital since 1986. In more recent years, Dr. Fox has also acquired Rau Too Animal Hospital and Chestnut Hill Cat Clinic. He has three grown children, five lovable cats, and hopes to adopt a canine companion in the near future. When Dr. Fox is not working, he enjoys reading, golfing, walking, and volunteering at the Abington YMCA.

Dr. Kirchhoffer grew up in the Philadelphia area. Since 1987, she has been a Rau Associate Veterinarian and was appointed Medical Director in 2011. Dr. Kirchhoffer currently resides in Jenkintown, PA with her husband. She has two grown children. Her furry children include two dogs: Yoshi, and Bea; and one cat: Roo. When Dr. Kirchhoffer is not working, she enjoys hiking, birding, and spending time at the beach with her family.

Dr. Rosenblatt is a Philadelphia native and currently resides in Dresher, PA. She joined Rau as an associate veterinarian in 2002. While not working, Dr. Rosenblatt enjoys relaxing with her husband and handsome cat, Puss. She also enjoys fine dining and shopping with friends.

Dr. Murphy grew up in Abington, PA and has been a Rau Associate Veterinarian since May of 2014. She currently resides in Ambler, PA with her husband, Frank and her two sons, Brandon and Jacob. Her furry children include a Pekingese named Fergie, and a German Shepherd Mix named Bailey. In her free time, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and visiting the Jersey Shore.

Dr. Messina completed his rotation internship at VCA South Shore in Weymouth, Massachussetts, and practiced general and emergency medicine prior to joining the team at Rau. Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Messina now resides in Wyncote with his wife, Emilie, and their Norwegian Buhund - Freya. He enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, playing the violin, and disc golf in his free time.

Dr. Miko Flasik grew up in Houston, Texas, originially, and then moved to Colorado eight years prior to moving to Philly. She received her DVM from Colorado State University in 2018 and has been at Rau since! She has a passion for client communications and diversity and social justice and hopes to use these passions to provide high quality pet care to her patients and their people. Outside of medicine, Dr. Flasik volunteers as a victims’ advocate for a women’s crisis center. She enjoys spending her free time eating, cooking/baking, napping and hanging out with her partner, Tim and their senior cat, Malcolm.

Dr. Kotloff grew up in Wantagh, New York, a town on Long Island’s south shore. She first joined the Rau team in 1992. After raising three sons in Elkins Park , she moved to Northeast Ohio and practiced there for five years before returning to Philadelphia and Rau in 2019. She currently lives in Flourtown, PA with her husband and two senior pugs.
