Our well-equipped surgical suite and trained OR technicians are prepared to perform a wide variety of surgical procedures, from routine spays to emergency surgery. Our anesthesia technicians provide constant monitoring throughout all procedures to offer an extra margin of safety, especially for our older and high-risk patients.

Rau’s on-site digital X-ray and ultrasound equipment provides high quality radiographs that aid our veterinarians in evaluating muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems. Ultrasounds are helpful in diagnosing kidney, bladder and gallbladder stones, masses, tumors, and other changes in a variety of organs, as well as detection of pregnancy. All radiographs are sent to a radiologist for evaluation. In the case of specialty referrals, we e-mail digital files or put them on a CD for easy transport.
